Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are subject to editorial approval and peer review. Manuscripts selected for peer review will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. Veterinary Research and Biological Products uses a double-blinded peer review strategy. Authors are usually notified of reviewers' comments and according to the Editorial Board conclusion, can have the opportunity to make amendments or provide responses. Editorial board will make the final decision for acception or rejection. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise within the topic area, and their purpose is to assist the authors and the journal by providing a critical review of the manuscript. On receiving reviewers' comments, authors may be requested to send the revised version of the manuscript, and a copy of their reply to the reviewers, including the comments and responses to questions and changes made to the revised version. Communication regarding a specific manuscript will take place between the journal and the designated corresponding author only. To see a flowchart of peer review process, please click here.
