Serotonin is one of the important and effective neurotransmitter regulated birds appetite. The aim of this study was to investigate the role of central serotonin and 5HT2c serotonin receptor on feed intake in female layer-type chicken Bovans by introcerebroventricular (ICV) injection of PCPA (parachlorophenylalanin: a brain serotonin depletive agent) and SB242084 (5HT2c antagonist serotonin receptor). A total of 33-one day old chicks, adapted to the experimental condition for three days, were randomly allocated to three treatment groups (n=11). Treatments included: control, ICV injection of normal saline; PCPA, ICV injection of 1.5µg PCPA, and SB242084, ICV injection of 1.5µg SB242084. Following three hours of food deprivation, the 5-days old birds received ICV injection of treatments that were dissolved in normal saline containing Evans blue. Amount of the food consumption and percentage of food intake based on body weight were recorded at 30, 60, 120, and 180 min post injection. Results showed that treatments had no effect on the amount of food intake and the percentage of food intake on the basis of body weight at the different experimental time-points (p>0.05). In addition, the average feed intake was not affected by the treatments (p>0.05). Overall, results of this study showed that serotonin and its specific 5HT2c receptor had no significant effect on food intake in 5-days old layer type Bovans chicks.}, keywords = {5HT2c serotonin receptor,Food intake,Layer chick,Parachlorophenylalanin,Serotonin}, title_fa = {بررسی نقش سروتونین مرکزی و گیرنده‌ی 5HT2c آن بر اخذ خوراک جوجه‌های ماده نژاد تخمگذار بونس با تزریق درون بطن مغزی (ICV) پاراکلروفنیل‌آلانین و SB242084}, abstract_fa = {تنظیم مصرف خوراک یکی از مهم‌ترین فرآیندهای مدیریتی پرورش دام و طیور است که توسط عوامل مختلف از جمله میانجی‌های عصبی کنترل می‌شود. سروتونین یکی از میانجی‌های عصبی مهم و مؤثر در تنظیم رفتارهای تغذیه‌ای پرندگان می‌باشد. هدف این پژوهش، بررسی نقش سروتونین مرکزی و گیرنده‌ی 5HT2c آن بر اخذ خوراک جوجه‌های ماده نژاد تخمگذار بونس با استفاده از تزریق درون بطن مغزی SB242084 (آنتاگونیست گیرنده 5HT2c سروتونین) و پاراکلروفنیل‌آلانین (ترکیب تخلیه‌ی کننده سروتونین مغزی) بود. تعداد 33 قطعه جوجه یک روزه پس از عادت‌دهی با شرایط آزمایش به مدت 3 روز، به‌طور تصادفی به 3 گروه آزمایشی (11=n) تقسیم شدند. تیمارهای آزمایشی شامل گروه شاهد: تزریق درون بطن‌مغزی سرم -فیزیولوژی، گروه SB242084: تزریق درون بطن‌مغزی 5/1 میکروگرم SB242084 و گروه PCPA) para-chlorophenylalanine): تزریق درون بطن مغزی 5/1 میکروگرم پاراکلروفنیل‌آلانین بود. در سن 5 روزگی و پس از سه ساعت محرومیت خوراکی، ترکیبات مختلف حل شده در سرم فیزیولوژی حاوی رنگ اونس‌بلو به‌صورت ICV (Intracerebroventricular)r به جوجه‌ها تزریق شد. میزان اخذ خوراک به دو صورت مقدار خوراک مصرف شده و مقدار خوراک مصرفی به صورت درصدی از وزن بدن در زمان‌های 30، 60، 120 و 180 دقیقه پس از تزریق ثبت شد. نتایج نشان داد تیمارهای آزمایشی تاثیر معنی‌داری بر مصرف خوراک و همچنین خوراک مصرفی بر اساس درصد وزن بدن در هیچ یک از مقاطع زمانی پس از تزریق نداشتند (05/0 < p). افزون بر این، میانگین خوراک مصرف شده نیز طی دوره‌ی آزمایش تحت تأثیر تیمارهای آزمایشی قرار نگرفت (05/0 < p). در کل، نتایج این پژوهش نشان از عدم تاثیرگذاری سروتونین و گیرنده‌ی اختصاصی 5HT2c آن بر مصرف خوراک جوجه‌های 5 روزه نژاد تخمگذار بونس داشت.}, keywords_fa = {5HT2c سروتونین,پاراکلروفنیل‌آلانین,سروتونین,مصرف خوراک,جوجه‌ی تخمگذار}, url = {https://vj.areeo.ac.ir/article_117993.html}, eprint = {https://vj.areeo.ac.ir/article_117993_a21bc3691526780c6903cdc36f726e72.pdf} }
